The Juniors shooting program is for youth from twelve to eighteen years of age. Participants learn firearm safety, proper use and marksmanship. Care and cleaning of the firearm are also covered. Club membership is not a requirement. However a parent/guardian should be present at the start of the activities.
The club provides firearms, ammunition, targets and certified instructors. Firearms are selected based on the youth’s ability to safely handle the various types of firearms available. We meet on the first Saturday of each month at 10:30 A.M. on the club range at either the classroom facility or in shooting pit A. Ending time depends on the day’s activities.
